Find the link to the petition which outlines the minimum action that is expected of the government.
Idea is to present a humungous amount of signatures (minimum 1 million, if the media participates unitedly, this no. can go up to even 20-30 million)....

I just read the above petition and did not like the over simplification.
Was quite surprised that you posted a link to that petition which frankly looks quite stupid and half baked.
I would rather go with the 10 point action plan which has been proposed by the citizens of India after the Mumbai terror.

do u think any of these Dodos are cabable of executing anything complicated...
if you see their election manifesto which runs into pages nothing was really done.
So 10 points or 5 points bottomline is we need SAFETY...all ministers should withdraw thier own personal security if they have the balls and think it is safe..

Well I think it is the other way round. All the 3 points mentioned are fairly complicated but are appropriate action items.
I’m not sure if asking what we think are the action items, I would rather like to:
1. See the top 3 action items that Indian PM has tasked his team to do.
2. Description on each action item, as to how it solves the problem in hand.
3. Who/Which organization/department in the governing body is responsible for executing the action.
4. Who is the single point person leading each of these departments.
6. Timeline commitment on when should the people of India will start seeing results.
7. Prime Time Television slot for these responsible individuals to present their status to the people of India.
In short I want transparency.

We do need safety and transparency along with that. The public is outraged with the turn on events... and with everyone now taking an active part I think we might see change..
