Absolutely correct. Recall Provision would help us in taking timely action against the government and also would always keep the politicians on their toes. 5 years is a very long time and most of the leaders tend to get away with their deeds. This would not only help is in getting better defense system but also would benefit the economy. Hope to see this implemented before any more attacks.

This attack on Mumbai - hope nobody forgets that Terrorists - especially Islamic Terror groups like LeT, Al-Qaida and its masters in Pakistan - have declared war on India. And the dunce Government and polity has been too soft with cowardice and uncaring to even recognise for what it is - how can 13 Terrorist strikes in India in 2008 alone (and the year isnt over - REMEMBER) is not WAR LIKE - then what the F*** is it?. We need to declare emergency and use this to upgrade our forces with the latest weapons - NOW not 6 months later, build our intelligence (which is non-existent), build a Marine Force and replenish the Navy. Quickly. We should declare Israel as the partner state in war against terror. There is no time for platitudes, only ACTION.

I say recall all the politicians and put Shivraj Patil, Vilasrao Deshmukh and RR Patil on trial. Let them give a reasons for their failure in public court. When will we make the politicians accountable? This recall with thing will not work, there is too much corruption and vested interests for this to work.

On second thoughts....Lets all just cool for a while and follow due process. Maybe the politicians mentioned above, should be given an opportunity to speak about their constraints. So that we as a nation can understand what we need to correct. We need to strenghten the armed forces and perhaps if India’s intelligence agencies who need help ....maybe give them more man power and funding. With PC Chidambaram at the helm, I am feeling a lot better. He has done wonders for the economy afterall....so I am sure he will do something for the Home Ministry. I was hoping Sharad Pawar would be given an opportunity - he is one of those who takes quick and strong decisions....
