It is a welcome step in a democratic political set up where we are supposed to have the independence of judiciary. All public-spirited persons would love this belated development. More and more such development will have a check on our politicians in power who are engaged in converting the democracy into family fief, often throttling the cherished goals and ideals of the democracy. * the appointment of an enquiry panel to probe the terror attacks,
* seeks action against those advising the government on national security,
* alleges that top bureaucrats and politicians were ”negligent” and ”irresponsible” in doing their jobs and in letting the attacks take place,

* implementation of the recommendations made by the McKinsey Report (2006),
* a time-bound plan to train and better equip the police and security personnel,
* states that contrasting this to how New York City (NYC) tightened its laws and upgraded security measures post 9/11,
* says the measures taken by NYC have ensured that there has been no recurrence of terror attacks

Bravo. Now it is a full story and speaks of the genuine concern of the citizens of this country who feel duped, cheated by politicians, irrespective of their hues and colours.
